On 28 July 2010, Airblue Flight 202, an Airbus A321 left the southern city of Karachi at 7.45 am for a two-hour scheduled flight to Islamabad and was trying to land during cloudy and rainy weather. It crashed in the nearby Margalla hills. All people on the board were killed.
